How do you get things delivered when you're sick?

I got Covid-19 during my trip to Germany. I'm currently staying in Heidelberg. This sucks for a lot of reasons, but one of the worst is not being able to get same day delivery from Amazon for groceries. There's no room service in my hotel, and when I spent a half hour trying to place an order on the Rewe website, I found that delivery wasn't available for the next three days. I'm supposed to stay in isolation until Friday and I'm feeling too sick to walk to a grocery store from my hotel. The front desk staff have been helpful, but they don't have any other ideas for how I can get groceries. All I need is some basic items like tea, honey, cough drops, and Tylenol Cold. Can someone please help me find a way to do this?

Tylenol Cold contains acetaminophen, also known as Paracetamol in Germany. It is only available in pharmacies, not in supermarkets.

Check if gorillas, getir, and flink are active in Heidelberg.

Grocery deliveries may or may not be available in Heidelberg, but food delivery from restaurants through Lieferando should be available. This can help you get through the mandatory isolation period until you feel well enough to buy groceries yourself.

In Baden-Württemberg, if you are feeling better, you are no longer required to stay in isolation. You can legally go out wearing a mask, although it is not recommended. This includes going to the supermarket.

If you are too sick to go out, you can ask a friend or family member to help you.

If you're staying in a hotel, ask the staff for help. You can also call Reichmann Apotheke for same-day delivery, and they have tea too. To find Reichmann Apotheke, just search online for "Lieferdienst Apotheke Heidelberg".

If you're ill in Germany, you can buy medicine on your way home from work.

Contact the Bahnhofmission (similar to the Salvation Army) if you need help getting medication while you are too ill to go out on your own. Visit their website for more information: https://www.bahnhofsmission.de/index.php?id=99&woher=3&bm=29

Is it difficult to get items delivered to the reception desk in hotels? I've seen this done in every hotel I've ever visited.

You can order groceries from a service called Pick-Nick here. They'll deliver the groceries to your home or hotel. I'm not sure if this service is available in Heidelberg.

If you are positive, you can still go out - just Google it.

To use Rewe, go to their website.

Apo.de is a legitimate online pharmacy offering same-day delivery in some areas. To find out if your area is eligible, check their website. People I know work there and can vouch for them providing quality over-the-counter products.

Doc Green Online Pharmacy will deliver items from the nearest pharmacy to you on the same day.

A pharmacy can deliver Tylenol.

I had COVID when I lived in Heidelberg this spring. I ordered through Gorillas and told the delivery drivers to leave the bag in the hallway and go away via the intercom. I then cleaned and put on a new mask before getting the bag. If you are in a hotel, contact the front desk to see if they can take the delivery and bring it to your door.

I'm not sure if all apothekes deliver or not. For food, it's best to wear a mask and go to the store.
